In 2019, 82 candidates sat 3 or 4 A-levels at NGHS. The average grade was B with an academic points score of 39.9. The school achieved progress figures in line with the similar schools. Given the high starting points of students in our Sixth Form (their high GCSE results) this is very pleasing.

Students who joined NGHS in Year 12 from other schools, students who received Bursary support and students on the SEND register all achieved particularly positive L3VA scores.

All students had achieved a minimum of Grade 4 in Maths and English on entry. Therefore no progress data is available.

Retention rate in sixth form in 2019 = 99%. 100% of students left NGHS to move onto higher education, training or employment. Destination data can be found in the sixth form section of the website.
