During term time, NGHS remains open to critical workers' daughters who require a place as well as a small number of invited students. Covid-19 announcements, pastoral care and lesson updates are in our For Parents section. If you are a critical worker, please ensure you have booked a place by contacting headteacher@nghs.org.uk.
Owing to our expansion, we are recruiting for a TEACHER OF DRAMA and TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS. Please click here for more information.

We welcome girls from the town of Newport as well as further afield from Telford, Stafford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
With a clear emphasis on success both inside and outside the classroom, our students achieve highly and make the most of opportunities to see the world and make life-lasting friendships. Visitors are assured a warm welcome and we hope that our website gives you a flavour of our ethos and success.
A Section 8 Ofsted inspection (October 2019) confirmed that NGHS continues to be recognised as an outstanding school. We are also delighted to be the Parent Power Sunday Times Secondary School of the West Midlands.
