Medication in School

If students need to take prescribed medication during the course of the school day, arrangements must be made with Mrs F Davenport by telephoning the school or emailing schooloffice@nghs.org.uk.

A MED1 form must be completed and Mrs Davenport will arrange the administration of the tablet(s)/suspension in accordance with the instructions. This form can be printed and downloaded below.

All students who require the use of an inhaler or adrenaline autoinjector (AAI) must carry their own device with them. A spare AAI is always kept at reception as well as a spare inhaler and the school benefits from the storage of generic, approved asthma support inhalers and adrenaline autoinjectors in case of emergency.
