In 2025, 120 candidates sat 3 or 4 A-levels at NGHS. 73.4% of A-levels were graded A*-B.

The average grade was B+ with an academic points score of 41.76

In 2025, 13% of A-level grades were  A*  and 46.84% were graded A*-B.

100% of students left NGHS to move onto higher education, training or employment. Our Sixth Form Prospectus includes details of destinations and course types.

Particular highlights from our 2025 A-level results include:

  • 73% of all grades awarded were A*-B and 89% were A*-C
  • Over 50% of all Geography, Computing and Mathematics grades were A or A*.
  • 50% of all students achieved an A or A* grade in History, Maths and Design & Technology.
  • In Art, Geography, German and Further Maths, 100% A*-B was obtained
  • Over ¾s of grades in Politics, Mathematics and Economics were grades A*-B
  • Every Religious Studies student achieved A*-C.
