The Trustees of NGHS comprises 11 governors plus the Headteacher. Attendance at meetings is updated at the end of each academic year.
Trustees all served on the Full Board and either on the Curriculum & Personnel Committee or the Finance & Buildings Committee. The Chair of Trustees sits on both committees.
Aside from the four full board meetings, the Chair and Chairs of the two committees regularly meet with the Headteacher and all governors have a named focus covering important aspects of school life. Please see below.
There are four Members of Newport Girls' High School: Edward Lewis (former Chair of Governors), Katie Foster, Rosamund Garner and Tony Brown (Chair of Trustees)
