When students returned to school last week, they were presented with a badge commemorating the School's Centenary. On Friday we had a full Centenary Photograph to capture the faces of students and staff who are here at NGHS one hundred years after the school opened. There is no photograph from 1919 at school (the first whole school photograph we have is from 1923), but I am sure that, once published, this photograph will go into the archives ready for the class of 2119 to enjoy.
As the photographs show, the organisation of a whole school photograph is not without its challenges, but the efficiency of the professional company involved and the smooth liaison and coordination by Mrs Taylor meant that everyone soon had a place to stand and be seen.
Parents will be told when the photograph is available for purchase. Here's to the next 100 years!
Here are some photographs in the lead up to the photograph being taken.
