All adults working in our school recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, regardless of their role or whether they work directly with children. Our approach to preventing radicalisation forms part of our wider arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students.
Through our Prevent duty, we recognise our responsibility to help prevent people from being drawn into terrorism. We support students who may be susceptible to radicalisation and ensure that concerns are addressed through our safeguarding procedures.
We promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
