Lunchtime on 24th September saw a fantastic first for NGHS, as students came together for our first ever Freshers’ Fair.

The event proved a huge success, with a fantastic turnout and a real buzz around school as students explored more than 20 stalls, each showcasing the clubs, societies, teams and activities on offer at NGHS. It was the perfect chance to find out more, meet other students and perhaps discover a new passion!

The Fair was organised by our Head Girl Team, with particular thanks to Evie Dononaldson, Deputy Head Girl for Inclusion, who took the lead in bringing the event together. Her hard work, alongside the enthusiasm of everyone running a stall, helped make the inaugural event such a memorable success.

The Freshers’ Fair also demonstrated just how much extracurricular life is thriving at NGHS. From sports teams and musical ensembles to drama, creative activities and an incredible variety of special-interest clubs, students have so many opportunities to get involved in school life beyond the classroom.

Whether you want to perform on stage, make music, represent NGHS in sport, develop an existing talent or simply try something completely new, there is an activity waiting for you.

Getting involved is a great way to make new friends, build confidence and become an even bigger part of our school community.

If our first Freshers’ Fair proved anything, it is that at NGHS, there really is something for everyone!
