The inaugural ‘Legacy Day’ was a day of recognition, reflection and community support, created by students to acknowledge that experiences of grief and bereavement affect many young people in our community, often in ways that are not always visible.

The students all wore pink as a symbol of compassion, unity and solidarity along with having opportunities for reflection, creative activities and even a pink themed bake sale!

After raising over £1,100 for’ Winston’s Wish’ we say a massive thank for the joint efforts of the current and next years head girl teams for organising the event. We have little doubt that ‘Legacy Day’ will become a permanent fixture in our school calendar!
