My name is Leia and I’m the FutureFocus Careers Adviser based at Newport Girls’. I meet up with every Year 11 in school to discuss their future plans. Every Year 11 also receives a Careers Pack in school during September.

I am passionate about careers education and my aim is to ensure every student makes well researched and informed careers decisions.

Hi, my name’s Catherine  and I am a Senior Manager with ReAssure, a financial services provider based in Telford. The company sponsor me to work for T&W as an  Enterprise Adviser to NGHS. My role is to support the school by providing an insight for students into the world of work, employer expectations and workplace culture. We do different activities with each year group looking at aspects of the work environment. I feel strongly that this is a 2-way communication though and I learn as much from the students as they do from me. I am always impressed by how engaged, passionate and caring they are.
