We are extremely proud of our extra-curricular programme at NGHS; there really is something for everyone. Designed to enrich student experiences of NGHS we have clubs that include Academic Support alongside Sports, Music, Art, Dance, Chess, Board Games, and Coding, to name just a few! We encourage all students to participate in at least one extra-curricular activity and achievement points are awarded for this. Whilst many of our clubs are led by staff, we also have student led clubs allowing our students to not only share their passions with others but also to develop their leadership skills. We are always open to new ideas for clubs and activities and students are encouraged to speak to Miss Webster if they have either a request for a club or would like to run a new club.
The clubs list does not include sports fixtures/school team sessions.
Most of our clubs/activities take place at lunchtime because many of our students have a fair distance to travel.
