Walk For Your Wellbeing

The competition mentioned below has now closed, but you can find out more information about it here!

I have been challenged to create a community event which encourages students, parents, friends and family in the Newport area to participate in a physical activity. After reflecting on our current situation within a global pandemic, I have decided to create an event centered around wellbeing and maintaining good mental health. ‘Walk for your wellbeing’ is designed as a personal challenge, where the end goal is to stay healthy, active and happy! There will be a number of competitions and prizes up for grabs to anyone that enters- see poster for details. In addition, all entries for the photo competition will be shared on this webpage So, please go take a look at other people’s brilliant photography!

I have also created a survey to see how effective this event will be and any replies are much appreciated. It takes about 2 minutes to complete. Please click here.

Take care and stay safe, I look forward to viewing all your entries!

This event took place during 2020-2021
